- (2013-06-07)Kay Bradway過世消息
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I just spoke with Kay's cousin, who told me that Kay died this morning, about 3 AM. Her favorite caregiver, Glennis, was with her. It's so good to know that, as I've met Glennis, and know she loved Kay dearly.
Her death was, of course, expected; at the same time it is a loss for all of us. Kay was 102 years, and almost 6 months. And she lived every minute of them, curiously, thougtfully, lovingly, mischievously. MSTG would perhaps not exist without her willingness to "try something new" back in 1980, when she followed Dora Kalff's prescription for me that I work with her "for three months." It turned into 33 years of working together. She is part of our beginnings, and our foundation.
A celebration of her life will be held at her home on May 14, a simple gathering of friends and colleagues to share memories. No information as yet about a preferred memorial; her cousin expected it will be to a sandplay organization or the San Francisco Jung Center. When I have that information I will share it.
